Details, details

Good mood but pretty tired.

Ordered stuff last week to complete the pieces. The 5mm dicros were too big. Ordered something else 3mm and they are teeny. pooh.

One more order is coming in and it better be JUST RIGHT.

The linen cord turned out to be way too thin but HAPPY ACCIDENT it will be great for other projects. It's a solution I was looking for last year.

Worked 3 double shifts in a row. Rode bike as transportation.

NOT in the mood to make more silver today. I'll just waste it if I can't concentrate.

I do have a large piece ready to fire from last Wed. It looks wonderful. The 2nd piece cracked in an unfixable spot as it dried. Dang.

I spent days off learning the process for my new job. It will be great! But tired from all the learning. Keeping the other 2 jobs since they are only 26 hours a week.

When you have a piece break, is there any way you can reuse it in something else?

I'm trying my very best not to nag my boyfriend about a piece; I don't want to feel like I'm placing an order for a gift, if that makes sense. But on the other hand, I really want one. Ah well, if he doesn't buy me a puffy heart for V-Day, I'll buy something for myself!

When a dried clay piece breaks I can regrind the dried clay and start all over again. I need to get a morter and pestle to make that easy. Fired pieces are a loss if they break. As far as I know! One can try to mend but it never looks right.

Sorry it didn't work out for V day. It really was the best way for me to get a good job (after 7 years of looking). The universe wasn't about to show me the good job posting until I had made other promises! Oy! But a happy "OY."
